Scott Tenney, established Bluebird Canyon Farms, a community agriculture project located in Laguna Beach California, in 2010 as a beta site to expand the program to other regions through the “special purpose entity”, Raincross Farms. The 15-acre operating biodynamic Bluebird Canyon Farms, serves as a community resource where it hosts Growing Skills, an educational program providing vocational and life skills training for young adults; and a planning and design center that supports the fee work it performs for its clientele. The farm also acts as project incubator providing new organizations and small business with administrative and management support and guidance to help them penetrate markets and succeed with their mission Bluebird Canyon Farms is a licensed and insured as a general contractor and acts as a project integrator providing provide planning, design and construction for various regenerative landscaping, ecological restoration and sustainable agriculture projects for private, corporate and public clientele.
